    Question rob vs steal

    Dear Teacher,

here are two sentences and please help me with the correct on.

sentence 1--> the robbers robbed millions of pounds from the store.

sentence 2--> the robbers stole millions of pounds from the store.

which one do you find more satiating?

    Re: rob vs steal

I don't find either terribly satiating. "Satiating" is not a good choice. I am rarely satiated by a sentence. Look up the word in a dictionary.

    1. I would never use "robbers robbed".
    2. Much better but it needs to start with a capital letter. That said, it is illogical. No store would have millions of pounds cash on hand.

    Re: rob vs steal

All your sentences should start with a capital letter, as emsr2d2 told you here.
