    Kept doing that

    Hi guys,

    As we know that we say, "He kept doing that" but can we say that "He kept me doing that" or do we have to say "He kept me do that".

    'He kept doing that' is correct.

    'He kept me doing that' and 'He kept me do that' are wrong.

    I am not a teacher.

    I think you could say "He kept me doing that" under certain circumstances.

    If someone were forced, obliged or ordered to do something (in a military or prison environment for example), "He kept me doing that all day!" wouldn't sound wrong to me.

    Both "He kept doing that." and "He kept me doing that." are correct. (They don't mean the same.)
