Hiw to describe about the flowers

    Hi,

    1. Am I right in saying "Look, the flowers have faded"?
    2. How would you describe what you see a bit more in detail?

    Thanks a lot.

    not a teac her

    1. To say "the flowers have faded" means that they have lost their original colour. I'm not sure that that's what you mean.
    2. There are various ways to describe this.
The flowers have fallen from the tree.
The flowers have lost their petals.
The tree has lost/shed its flowers.
    …etc.
In each case you could call them "blossoms" instead of flowers.

Thanks a lot! Exactly what I was looking for, and no, I did not mean to say the flowers have lost their original colour, instead, I meant to say they have fallen from the tree. Now I know the right way of expressing.
