Hi, Can anyone suggest either books (to buy) or websites (preferably free) where I can find super well written college essays on various topics from business/medicine/nursing/technology/science to other topics?

I suppose these essays would have a references page.

No not for cheating. Just to read to learn how to write myself better on different topics. I not using this for plagiarism or have ever considered in the past.

Also I stated books to buy. That is not cheating. Read before, think for 10 seconds, before you start writing random things and making assumptions!

Asking a question is not exactly making an assumption, Freestuff.

If you buy books and plagiarize them, it is still cheating.

Well, we did all assume (me too) that it was for the purposes of cheating.

And the reasons I made that assumption are experience with similar questions, the specific interest in college essays (compared to general articles), and failing to say "I'd like to study good writing."

99% of people looking for well-written college essays are looking for work they can copy from if not entirely appropriate as their own.

... they can copy from if not entirely appropriate as their own.

A fairly infrequently seen use of the word "appropriate" as a verb. I readily admit that I read this fragment about 5 times before realising that it wasn't being used as an adjective.

Initially I thought Barb meant "work that they can copy (even if this isn't entirely appropriate) as their own".

Eventually I realised it was "... work they can copy (even if they don't completely appropriate it) as their own".

Ah. Do you say them differently? For me,
The adjective is uh-PRO-pree-uht
The verb is uh-pro-pree-ATE

Yes, I mean "at the very least, copy from, and that's assuming their real motive wasn't to submit it as though it were theirs all along."

For me the primary stress in both words is on PRO.

The last syllable of the adjective is completely unstressed. The vowel is schwa.
The last syllable of the verb has secondary stress, and is pronounced like 'eight'.

Even though they have different pronunciations, the written word is identical. I rarely see it written as a verb so I automatically assumed it was the adjective.

I am shocked, SHOCKED I tell you, that you were unable to hear what my mind was thinking. You really have to work on that sixth sense.

This is not the best way to encourage people to help you. Your first paragraph is quite sufficient and may have led to some efforts to help. It's understandable that you might feel a little offended if you read Dave's post as an assumption and accusation, but gratuitous 'advice' like this to regular contributors won't make you any friends here. Did you "think for 10 seconds" before adding the last sentence?

Note that this message is for everyone. Taking undue offense is often more detrimental than giving it.

I'm with 5jj here. I would hit the "pro" syllable with either pronunciation.
