    “eliminate the last"

    Hi,

I know there is an approach. Basically, every round the last person gets eliminated.
What do we officially call this approach? "Eliminate the last"?

    Thank you!

What you are describing there is less an approach and more of a tournament system. Is this what you are talking about? If not, then you will need to give us more information about what you mean.

Yes! Thanks for bringing that up! What I meant to talk about is that system. So what do people call it?

I got it! The word "knockout" is what I was looking for!
