In your first, I would use "for".
In your second, I would "chemistry professor".
I don't think there is any formula that works for prepositions.
Student or Learner
Hi guys, I am confused about using for or of in the following sentences:
1) What is your schedule for/of the job
2) I am your new professor for/of chemistry
Moreover can anyone give me a formula of how to use of and for. Thanks
I agree- I would use Professor of Chemistry for the position title like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fulleri...r_of_Chemistry.
What should I use in the following sentence:
Today I am here to ask you 2000 dollars in return of/for 20% of my business.
