    Hello, everyone
Please tell me if the following is correct . I'm a little puzzled. Thank you.

    a pie / cake / pizza = a piece of pie / cake / pizza

    Re: pie cake

    I would use:

    A slice of cake
A piece/slice of pie (depending on the type of pie)
    A slice of pizza

A pie/cake/pizza refer to the whole thing. A piece/slice of each one is a section of the whole thing.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    I am not a teacher.

You should also know that "a piece of cake" is an idiom meaning that something is easy to do.

Come to think of it, we also say "easy as pie".

    Re: pie cake

I'd use "piece" or "slice" equally for pie, cake, or pizza.
(But am in complete agreement with ems on the whole thing versus a piece.)
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
