    Exclamation Adjective clause (some problem)

    Hi Teachers,

I have some problems on adjective clause like:

in the following sentence why we use 'by' ,Is this preposition(by) come after verb(reach) ?

1-Through train is a train by which you can reach a place, without having to use other trains.
    ************************************************** ********************
And in the sentence number two, the bold context is adjective clause from which 'that is ' is omitted ?
Like : " Blood that is carried by the arteries has received oxygen from the lungs." or "Blood that carried by the arteries has received oxygen from the lungs."
    which one is correct?

2- Blood is carried through the body by two types of blood vessels, arteries and veins. Blood carried by the arteries has received
    oxygen from the lungs.

    Am I wrong?
    Thanks .

    Re: Adjective clause (some problem)

    1. "by which": you need both words. Compare: "un treno da cui possibile raggiungere un posto" (If 'da' is wrong, you'll be able to supply the right preposition). "with which" con cui, etc.
You can't say "This is a train which you can reach a place." But in English the preposition can come at the end somtimes: "This is train which you can reach a place by".

    2. "that is" is omitted.
