    if anything

    Hello

Can you please tell me the meaning of "if anything" in this sentence :

Friendship is invisible thread running through society, yet its significance in our live is, if anything, increasing.

    Thanks

    Re: if anything

If the significance of friendship in our lives is changing, it is increasing, not decreasing.

    Re: if anything

It's not a particularly well-written sentence. There should be an article of some description after "Friendship is" and "live" should be "life" or "lives".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
