    Multiple choice question

    Are you ..... yet?

    1. through
    2. over
    3. gone
    4. done

What's the correct answer? I have no clue.

    Re: Multiple choice question

I think 1 & 4 work fine. Depending on the context, you could probably argue for all of them.

I think 1 and 4 are AmE for 'finished'. I agree you could use the others in certain contexts too.

    2. over. Two burglars are climbing over a fence in the dark. The one who is waiting to go second says, "Are you over yet?"
    3. gone. "Are you gone yet?" means "Have you gone yet?; Have you left yet?"
