The reason why I've emailed/I emailed you two pictures is/was because I want/wanted

I emailed the interior designer who's designing our new home two pictures of home interiors I found in a magazine over a week ago. During our get together, I tell him in person:

The reason why I've emailed/I emailed you two pictures is/was because I want/wanted you to take a look at both pictures and use them to create your own design.

Which would a native say? Would it be better to use a the present tense or the past tense.

    Thank you!

A native might use either one. It makes no difference.

    What about:

The reason why I emailed you two pictures is because I want you to take a look at both pictures and use them to create your own design.

    And

The reason why I emailed you two pictures was because I want you to take a look at both pictures and use them to create your own design.

    Are these okay?
