Question do you consider it any good _______(repair) the computer?

Dad, do you consider it any good __________(repair) the computer again?

Should it be "to repair" or "repairing"? I think it should be "to repair" because there is the expression like "consider it necessary/important to do something". But the answer is "repairing". What do you think? And by the way is the word "good" in this sentence a n. or an adj.? Thanks!

Good morning! No intentions to offend, but I fear that my thread will sink without any replies. So I am just pushing it up. Not a post to urge. Thanks!

It's not a natural sentence with either option. "Dad, do you think it's worth repairing the computer?" is the natural way to say it.

    It would be colloquial as:
"Do you think it's any good repairing the computer again?"
"Do you think it would do any good to repair the computer again?"
Either version works. There's no good reason to choose 'repairing'.
