    Also, you could have 'the lyric ...describes...', but that usage is possibly a bit old-fashioned. With that format, I think 'of' is the more common.

    None. I suspect 'of' is slightly more generally acceptable, but 'to' is common. (Some speakers may make a distinction between 'Of as referring to lyrics and tune written together' and 'To as referring to lyrics written to fit a tune', but it's not a common or rigid distinction (and, with most songs, who knows anyway?!)
