Raymott suggested me a good idiom "as dry as a dead dingo's donger". I've already read what it means. My problem is that I can't understand the literal meaning (I'm just interested, out of curiosity). It seems quite meaningless for me. The main problem is a word "donger". I've no idea what it means. My dictionary says nothing, the urban dictionary says it HEIMERDINGER = HEIMERDONGER (I've no idea what it is) http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=donger

The next meaning, that I found, was a "penis". Does "donger" mean "penis" in the idiom?

Thanks. :-D

I am not a teacher and I'm not an Aussie either.

However, as far as I am concerned it is definitely the penis.

It's amusing as an image, and the alliteration makes it even funnier.
