    Hi guys,

Please tell me the correct forms.

    1) I have put the box upside down.

    2) I have parked the car "what should we say after this, if we want to say that we parked the car in opposite direction like front to back"

    3) what should we day if we want to say that "I have worn the payjama or pantly wrongly, like the part that should have come at the front has gone back and the part that should have been at the back has come in front"

    Re: opposite

    Hi. :)

I have put the box upside down. Correct.

I have parked the car the other way around.

I have put on my pyjamas backwards.

    ;)

    Re: opposite

For the first, I would say "turned the box upside down". For the second, I would say "I backed the car into the parking space."

I agree with Elanguest's suggestion for the third. (Pyjamas are pajamas in AmE.)

In BE we say 'I've put my pyjamas on back to front'.

    Re: opposite

If you are parking along the street (parallel parking) you can get a ticket for parking "in the wrong direction." Or "facing the wrong way."

In India a payjama/pyjama (originally an Urdu word) is a pair of loose cotton trousers.
