Hello, teachers! I am so grateful for your help!

I have a question.

An expression, "It is a quarter to one" is said widely by people but is it also possible to say " It is fifteen miuntes to one"

As far as I know, it's not wrong to say ' It's fifteen minutes to one ', maybe not usual though.

I'm not a teacher.

I agree withHugoJ. Youcould use it if you were counting the minutes to something, but it wouldn't be very natural just to tell the time.
