Ae there any differences between" not to my knowlege "and "not that i know of" ? I think they both mean "as far as I know ,the answer is no".But someone suggests " not to my knowlege "is just a fancy way of saying "I don't know", https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=1005122100529 .So what do the two phrases really mean, or it just depends on the context?
Thanks.

I didn't see the response you refer to on that site, but the first answer there is a good one.

They mean the same - "I don't think so, but I may be wrong (because I'm not an expert/ because something may have changed since I last checked/ because I wasn't paying a lot to attention to it/ etc.)"

Yahoo Answers usually has a few good answers each time and a lot that are utter garbage.

It doesn't change my answer.

That response on Yahoo Answers belongs in the "garbage" category.
