If I had caught the bus yesterday, I would have arrived punctually.
If I caught the bus yesterday, I would be punctual.

Are they correct?

To me, only the first makes sense. The second seems to suggest that catching the bus yesterday has an influence on your being punctual today.

If you attended his party yesterday, he would be very happy.

Does it make sense?

It should be if you had attended.

"If I had caught the bus yesterday, I would be punctual."
"Had" is added, does it make sense now?

"If you went to see him, he would be delighted."── quoted from my Oxford dictionary.
Why is "went" used rather than "had gone"?

"If you attended his party yesterday ..." This use of the past tense refers to the past.
"If you went to see him ..." This use of the past tense is the past subjunctive and refers to something hypothetical, not in the past.
They mean different things, and that's why the grammar, combination of tenses, is different.
If you had written "If you went to see him yesterday, he would be delighted" that would be as wrong as "If you attended his party yesterday, he would be very happy."
The addition of a past marker changes the subjunctive mood into a simple past indicative.

1. If I had caught the bus yesterday, I would have been punctual.
2. If I had caught the bus yesterday, I would be punctual.

Which one is correct?

It seems to me that if you had been punctual, then you would have caught the bus.

If I had got up early yesterday, I would be punctual.

Is it OK?

It should be I would have been as you're talking about yesterday. Also, on time would probably sound more natural.

2.
If I had got up early yesterday, I would have been be punctual.

Why is "be" used in 1 but "have been" used in 2? I am talking about yesterday in both.

If his happiness in #1 is only in the past, then you should use "he would have been happy."

As #1 is written, the happiness exists now because of the attendance yesterday.

And I think it's worth adding that his punctuality could only occur at one specific time of yesterday. It doesn't make him punctual today in the way that the attendance at his party yesterday could make him happy today, or even tomorrow.
