    which

I know WHICH is not used for people.
Can it be used for animals?
Why do I still find the sentence examples as follows ?

    1. Which of the secretary do you like?
    2. May and Bo are so pretty. I don't know which one to choose ?

    Thank you.

    Re: which

Yes, one can use "which" or "that" for animals. In many cases, "who" is used.

In your sentence, "which" refers to a choice between two options. It is not a pronoun referring to people.

The first part should be "Which secretary" or "Which of the secretaries".

    Re: which

    Sure it can.

Your statement that "which" is not used for people is incorrect.

Which one of the secretaries do you like (prefer)?
