    Grammar question

    Hello,

    Can I say
" He recommended going to museum " ?
" Is this correct way if I say 'He recommended going to museum' "?
" Is this correct way that I say 'He recommended going to museum' "?

    Thanks in advance!

    Re: Grammar question

Your first is correct if you add an article "a/the" before "museum". Also note that we do not use a space between quotation marks and the words they enclose.

The beginning of your other two is not correct. You could say "Is it correct if I say...?"

Use either single or double quotation marks. Don't use both in the same quote.

    Re: Grammar question

We appreciate that you wish to say thanks, but it's better if you just click the "Thanks" button. That way we don't see a new response and think you have a new question.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
