    Subsided

    Hi guys,

Please check this sentence "They could have put some stones in the bag in order toake it heavy, and they could have thrown it in the water to make it subsided in the deep water".

"They could have put some stones in the bag to make it heavy enough to sink when thrown into the water."

I would not use "subside" there.
