    Impossible is nothing

Does "Impossible is nothing" mean 1 or 2?

    1. To be impossible doesn't mean anything, so don't care about it.
    2. Nothing is impossible - just an inversion for emphasis.

    Re: Impossible is nothing

I think it's more akin to number 1. I think the phrase came from this Adidas commercial.

    http://beplus.org/2011/06/07/impossi...as-commercial/

Like "think different", it's another catch phrase from advertisers.

"You are nothing" means you have no value or that you are worthless -- not worth considering.

"Impossible is nothing" would mean that "impossible" should not be considered -- that is, impossible is not a possibility. What's left then is only what's possible.

That is a positive message -- that everything is possible.

    Re: Impossible is nothing

I saw it in two occasions, one in a movie poster- I don't remember clearly, but it was a very recent one dealing with some defense from aliens or something and the other, in Adidas ad.
