    shouldn't/couln't had to/was ...

    Please help!

    Underline the approprriate modal verb:
    1.The weather was reallyhot so we couldn't or shouldn't go out the whole day.
    2.I had to or was able to speak English when i was 10.
    3.I shouldn't have or could have touched that snake.It was dangerous.
    4.I'm so happy I was able to see or needn't have seen the river Thames on my holiday.

    Actually, we can't. See Rule 6.

    The best offer we can make is to help a student to understand any wrong answers he/she has made after the exercise has been marked/graded and the teacher has failed to explain the error.
