    Grammar question

    Hi all, can somebody tell me which of the following sentences is correct?

    A.) I couldn't send you a message because I forgotten to bring my phone out.
    B.) I couldn't send you a message because I have forgotten to bring my phone out.

    Hello,
    Please note that most people come here because they have a "grammar question" so please give your threads better titles.

    "I have forgotten" would have worked.

    Also please note we cannot help with homework. Pasting in your homework questions one at a time is still getting help on your homework. If this is not homework, please say this clearly in your posts.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
