    expected more people

    Hello,

I'm curious if I should use something after this phrase:
I expected more people that is a sign too that the food is delicious. (I mean that I was at a restaurant and there were few people, should I say: I expected more people to be there or maybe I expected there were more people?)

    Thank you for your help.

    Re: expected more people

I expected more people at the restaurant. This would be a sign that the food is delicious.

I would have suggested "That would have been a sign that the food is delicious."

    Re: expected more people

Yes, "that" is a more appropriate pronoun.
