    lack of respect

    Is this sentence correct?

    "Using a mobile phone in a public place, while you are having a conversation with other people , denotes a lack of respect"

    Don't leave a space before a comma, and end every sentence with the appropriate punctuation mark.

    This sentence would be better with both commas removed, IMO.
