Is it correct to use an ajective after the construction "give someone"?

    Hello all!
I've run into a phrase where I'd heard the "we'll be giving you familiar with some of the vocabulary". So now I have some doubts if it's correct, though I found lots of examples of the expression by google, but without any proper explanations of it.
Could you explain what I'm missing?

No, that's not right at all.
What are you missing? That Google searches often give strange results.

Well, it would be better to give the link: http://yourlisten.com/Denisius/thecontext
I was confused by the first several words in the phrase. After all I think it's the "getting" instead of "giving" there. So the whole phrase is, "we'll be getting you familiar with some of the vocabulary and foundational skills you'll need in order to begin moving around and working inside of Maya".
And thank you for your reply.

Yes, "We'll be getting you familiar with the vocabulary" is a proper sentence.
