    Past perfect

    Hi guys,

    Please chk this sentence.

    "He had been doing exercise for a long time or 2 hours, so when he left it, I started doing it".

    He had been using the exercise equipment for a long time. When he finally left it, I took it over.

    You might also say he had monopolized the exercise equipment for a long time.
