    run lists

People should keep running lists of books that they are interested in.

    What does "run" mean?

    Thanks!

    Re: run lists

It's a list you keep adding to. It keeps getting longer. Compare this to, say, a grocery list which, after you've used it, you throw away.
Note that the term is "running lists". You should keep them. It's not saying about lists that you should keep running them.

    Re: run lists

They also get shorter as you actually finish reading books that are on the list. The "running" part means "constantly updated."
