When we say "Iíve been watching that programme every week."
and when we say "I watch that programme every week."?

    Re: watch/watching

    I'm not a Forum's teacher.

We use “I’ve been watching” to show that you started to watch that program in the past, has continued up
until now” and, perhaps, you’ll continue watching it.

We use “I watch” to express the idea that the action is repeated or usual. The action can be a habit, a hobby, a
scheduled event or something that often happens.

    Re: watch/watching

Because of the inclusion of "every week", I find no tangible difference between the two sentences.
