    build a snowman

    Hello.
Please forgive me if it's a silly question.

Do you 'build a snowman' or 'make a snowman'?

    Thank you.

    Re: build a snowman

    Either. I usually say "build".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Re: build a snowman

    Thank you, ems.
Is there any particular reason that you tend to use 'build' instead of 'make'?

    Thank you again.

    Re: build a snowman

Cause it's built up of pieces. Normally three balls of snow of decreasing size.

    Re: build a snowman

I prefer 'make a snowman' as I am not using building materials.

    Re: build a snowman

I use "build" because that is what I've always heard. What one has always heard is a big factor in how one chooses vocabulary.
