    words to describe stare

I'm not quite sure about proper adjectives to modify the word stare. I wonder if I can use "sluggish stare" to express the same idea as "dull stare"? Besides that, what other words can be used here to give the same idea?

    Re: words to describe stare

I have never heard "sluggish stare".

The most common I have heard for "dull" is "blank".

Others that can be used with "stare" include: determined, cold, icy, steely, piercing, disbelieving, unrelenting, disquieting, accusing, silent, etc.
