Why " why ", " when " , " how" are not considered as Relative Pronouns?

Im confused about the usage of words " why ", " when ", " how " as Relative Pronoun. Simply make me understand if they conjoin two parts of sentence for example " He asked me why i was standing there? " or " i was listening music when the guests arrived ".. Are " why " and " when" are not being used as Relative Pronouns. Kindly make me in easy and understandable way that why we dont consider these words as Relative Pronouns?....Thanks a lot

How are they acting as pronouns? What are they replacing or referring to?
