My interviewer sent me an email that they would like to reimburse my flight ticket. How should I reply in an appropriately and appreciate it? How about this: I appreciate your reimbursement for my flight ticket and have attached the Booking Confirmation as the receipt to this email.

Thanks!

I'd add, "You may send a cheque to my address <....>, or credit my bank account #123 - 456.
Once again, thank you for the refund,

Regards..."

Would it be out of safety concern not to send your bank information? Sorry, I'm curious.

Direct bank transfers are very common in Aus. I'd be lost without them. Most companies give their bank details for deposits.

Wow.
Just.. wow.
I would have major misgivings about that. I would provide it to another bank but not to some small firm that said they'd pay for my plane ticket. My email gets left open on someone's computer and there's all the information someone with ill intentions needs to create some serious mischief for me.

But why would large companies give their details? When I bought a house recently, my conveyancer/law firm gave me their account number for me to transfer mucho dinero into. Why would they do that if it wasn't secure? I know some people trust the internet and electronic banking more than others. But when have you major companies wanting to receive payments by direct transfer (and giving you their account number), you have wonder how large the risks are.
Anyhow, I'm no expert on electronic banking or crime. I do what other reasonable people do, and hope for the best (and certainly don't keep all my eggs in the one basket, or account).

Your banking must be different there.
