[Grammar] why dont we use " to " before home, abroad, upstairs etc....

Can anybody help me in understanding the basic reason " why we dont use thw word to before home...For example.... " im going to home "....incorrect while " im going to bed " is correct...why whats the reason for that......Thanks....

"Home" can be both a noun and an adverb. As an adverb, it does not work with a preposition. We, as a matter of preference, tend to use the adverbial "home" in that usage.

Please see my corrections to your posts. It is important to follow the rules of written English:

- Start every sentence with a capital letter.
- End every sentence with a single, appropriate punctuation mark.
- Always capitalise the word "I" and proper nouns (English, Shakespeare, London).
- Do not put a space before a full stop, comma, question mark or exclamation mark.
- Always put a space after a full stop, comma, question mark or exclamation mark.
- Do not put a space after an opening quotation mark.
- Do not put a space before a closing quotation mark.

We don't join sentences with strings of full stops (.....) as you did. You should also concentrate on the use of apostrophes.
