    Is it wrong to say "The news didn't reach my ears"?

    No, it's not wrong, assuming you're saying it in an appropriate context. It's a correct, natural sentence.

    It's fine, just be aware that "I didn't hear the news" or "The news didn't reach me" are more natural.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
