I don't know exactly what this means. Please help me. Thank you.

Today's shepherd is approximately 22 to 26 inches tall at the shoulders.

Mr. bhaishab, sir.
I just want to know the meaning of "tall at the shoulder" when you talk about the height of animals.
I just copied the given sentence while googling "tall at the shoulder".

Do you know what "the shoulder" refers to?

Maybe upper part of the front legs? That's just my thought.

Thank you for the graphic, sir, but I'm still quite uncertain.

Right, giddyman, so the context is the height of animals — in this case a German shepherd dog, or Alsatian'.

My first reaction was that the average shepherd would be about five foot six at the shoulders, but that's a guy who looks after sheep.

Please note that a better title would have been Tall at the shoulders.

I don't know how to change the title. Sorry, Mr. Rover_KE.

You can't change it, but it doesn't matter now. I'll be really pleased if you remember next time.:-D

(You don't need to call us 'sir' or 'Mr'. How do you know I'm not female?)
