    What's wrong with this sentence?

What's wrong with the following sentence?
"Who is your mother? She is a teacher."

    Please kindly advise. Thanks!!

Re: What's wrong with this sentence?

"She is a teacher" would be an answer to a question like "What does your mother do?" If someone says "Who is your mother?" I think they would expect you to say your mother's name. ;)

Please kindly advise. Unnecessary. In any case, 'please' and 'kindly mean the same.

Thanks!! Unnecessary. Just click 'Thanks' when you get a useful answer.

Is it possible that they would expect the OP to point at her and/or describe her appearance if she is among a group of people there?

They'd probably use which in that question.
