    Go (to) home

    Hi there!

    I know that 'go home' is correct. What I don't know is why 'to' cannot be used in the middle. I just don't have arguments to explain this mistake.

    In "go home", "home" is an adverb. In "go to home", "home" would be a noun. That is just not the way we say it.
