    Question tecnich words

Hello, i'm trying to find the translation for the spanish word "adquisicion", in the meaning of the "adquisicion" of the languaje like a child learn to speak, tis firsts words, etc. I found out the equivalence of "adquisicion" in english as "acquistion", but i'm not sure this means what I want.
    Thank you for your help.
    Alba.

    Re: tecnich words

Yes, "acquisition" is the correct word. "Language acquisition" was one of the things I studied very briefly at university.
