Question Which is correct? "It's a project of the Fifa" or "It's a Fifa's project"?

    "It's a project of the Fifa" or "It's a Fifa's project"?

    Which is correct?

    Neither.

    'It's a Fifa project.'

Note: FIFA is more correctly capitalised, but the British press at least are increasingly using 'Fifa', as the acronym is always spoken as a word — 'feefa'.

That's interesting. In the US, we almost never use Fifa. It would look strange -- like a dog's name, Fifo.

Since it's a governing body for soccer (football), we assume that the use of the capitalized acronym is important (FIFA) -- like MLB (Major League Baseball).
