    Re: Hanuman ji

Is hanuman a person? If so, what do you think is wrong with the way you've written it?
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Re: Hanuman ji

I'll rephrase. Is "hanuman" a proper noun? If so, what do you think is wrong with the way you've written it?

Additionally - does he forget that he has powers? That's what it means if someone must remind you.

    Re: Hanuman ji

yes he was so powerful that they cursed him that he would not be able to use his powers until anybody reminded him of his powers. It is also said that he is still on earth because he was also given a boon by lord Ram that he would remain on earth till the dooms day or till the end of the earth.

"Hermit cursed little Hanuman, so that he would not be able to use his powers until somebody reminded him that he had them."
"Hermit cursed little Hanuman, so that his powers disappeared. They would only return if someone reminded him that he had them."
