How to use it to sound natural?

    Hi, everyone!

Does it sound natural to say that " something may let up the quality of life" or "the quality of life may be let up" ?

    Thanks in advance.

Perhaps "diminish" is better than "let up".

What do you mean by "let up"? Do you mean make it better or make it worse?

I mean to make it worse; to decrease the quality of life. Does it make sense?

Then I would go with abaka -- diminish.

You could use other verbs like reduce/lower.
