    Endowed

Please would you correct the mistakes in my sentences. I am wondering if I had punctuated them correctly.

    1. Anna was endowed with beauty, which helped her a lot in her life.
    2. He was endowed with strong determination and intelligence, which made him a great leader.

They are OK, but they don't sound very contemporary; more Edward Gibbon to me.
