    What does 'make navigation' mean in this context?

    The advertising director suggested thatbe designed to make navigation simpler for users and look more contemporary.

    "Make navigation simpler" is the phrase. Do you know what they mean by "navigating"? Your sentence is missing some words, but I am assuming they are talking about a web page or other piece of software.

    It should be written like this.

    simpler for users and look more contemporary.
