Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Youth is wasted on the young.
Essay:
There’s this saying “youth is the best time of life.” Many people said that as we grow old we would realize that our youth are the precious years of your life. The youngsters today are just wasting their best time of life to some unimportant stuff.
Young ones’ these days, often get involved in promiscuity. Their friends offer them friendship with bad influences. These bad influences such as drugs, nightlife, sex, etc. are short-lived pleasures. Teenagers are easy-minded; they don’t overthink their decisions. There goes the popular saying YOLO (You Only Live Once) that makes them to do everything they wanted to do while they are still capable of doing it. As their condition are still physically fit, they are just cutting of time by fulfilling their desire to those kind of pleasures.
Some other teenagers wasted their golden times on their individual addictions. These individual addictions vary with different people according to their hobbies, for example addiction to computer games, novels, comics, movies, etc. These addictions are stealing their valuable time to do other things that are productive, for instance helping the society or improving the environment.
Therefore, youngster these days shouldn’t wasted their best times of life to some momentary pleasures and their own obsessions. Young people should use their body and energy wisely, they can help improve the society by involving themselves in charity events or even take courses to broaden their skills and knowledge, as it will be useful for them in the future. By doing this, we can ensure that when we are old enough, we won't regret the years that we have spent during our youth.
