    Smile Find and correct the errors in the following sentences

    Hi,
    This is Mani from India and now i am preparing for competitive exams. My english knowledge is below average. Please help me out to find the errors in the following sentences. Thank you very much.

    1. But for your support this work would not have been finished.
    2. Washing the dishes she remembered that she was to go to the market.
    3. She asked me if i can live entirely on my own.
    4. As compared to the old steno, this new steno is capable of doing more faster work.
    5. The officer could carry the bag himself but he felt it was not proper to carry it himself.
    6. There can hardly be full objectivity in measure of human behaviour.
    7. Just because I am not wearing white dress they asked me to leave the party.
    8. What matters most is the positive attitude and not the actions.

    Above are 8 different sentences. There is a grammatical mistakes in those sentences. find those errors and help me in my competitive exams.

    Are you learning English with a teacher?
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    I think if YOU tried to find the mistakes and suggested corrections, you would learn more than if we did it for you.
    Though I have no idea what 6 means.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    I believe this is preparation, like studying practice tests. I could be wrong, of course.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    "6. There can hardly be full objectivity in measures of human behaviour."
    This would seem to mean that one human studying the behaviour of another human cannot be totally objective. It's a well-known problem in experimental psychology.
