I am curious with the meaning of this idiom that I heard on TV Show "....looking to go 3 and 0." So, anyone can help me?

    Re: Idiom meaning

Welcome to the forums, deaniko ipuzz.

    It's not an idiom.

What TV show was it and what was happening at the time? It's not a show I'm familiar with. Did the speaker say 'three and zero, nought, nothing or nil'?

Please note that a better title would have been ...looking to go 3 and 0.

    Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

    Re: Idiom meaning

Usually, in a sport, when someone is "looking to go 3 and 0" it means 3 wins and 0 losses. Probably the team or individual currently has a record of 2 wins and 0 losses. Another win will make it 3 and 0.
