I eventually get up, showered and dressed...

    In the following sentence:

08:00 - I eventually get up, showered and dressed and stroll up to college with a few friends.

are the participles showered and dressed used correctly? Doesn't this sentence mean "by the time I get up, I am already showered and dressed"? For me getting up means leaving one's bed after a night's sleep. Is this sentence correct?
If I were a native speaker of English, I would never shut up. :-)

No, it's not correct. As you say, it suggests that you are already showered and dressed when you get up.

Re: I eventually get up, showered and dressed...

Now I seem to begin to understand that the person meant this:
I eventually get up, [get] showered and [get] dressed and stroll up to college with a few friends. - perhaps, he/she skipped get not to repeat it.

With this in mind, is this sentence just confusing, so I'd better not use it or is it completely wrong? Perhaps, with proper intonation it will sound ok in colloquial speech?

Bhai brought up a good point. The structure can be misunderstood.

Better would be: Eventually, I get up; I get showered and dressed and stroll up to college with a few friends.

Re: I eventually get up, showered and dressed...

Alternatively: 'I eventually get up, shower and dress, and stroll up to college....'
