At the moment we are looking at Li Bai's poems and analysing them.

    Is this sentence correct?
At the moment we are looking at Li Bai's poems and analysing them.

What I mean is maybe just one verb (looking or analysing) is enough to convey the meaning of studying?
If I were a native speaker of English, I would never shut up. :-)

Your sentence sounded fine on first reading. It was only when I read your question that I realised you would have to look at them in order to analyse them, so you could leave out 'looking'.

Why don't you say studying Li Bai's poems?

Studying is ok, but I wanted something less popular, some synonymic expression.

Could I omit "analysing" and leave "looking"? Will it imply "studying" as well?

You could, though it sounds a bit less industrious than studying them to me.
